The Memphis Zoo hosts “Tennessee Tuesday” every Tuesday!
On “Tennessee Tuesday,” visitors who provide a Tennessee ID receive free admission! See the details and stipulations below.
“Each Tuesday at 2 p.m., Tennessee residents are admitted to the Memphis Zoo free when they present a Tennessee photo I.D. Additional admission policies on Tennessee Tuesday include:
- The Memphis Zoo allows free general admission to Tennessee residents on Tuesday afternoons from 2 p.m. to close.
- Persons ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older.
- Adults age 21 and older may accompany up to five children ages 16 and under.
- Photo ID with proof of age and TN residency are required for free admittance. TN Drivers license, current TN college or TN military photo ID will be accepted.” ((from memphiszoo.org))
One of the things that we love most about Memphis is our zoo. We’ve been to zoos in many different cities and we can truly say that the Memphis Zoo has topped them all.
With exhibits such as the Teton Trek (bears & wolves), Northwest Passage (polar bears & sea lions), and Cat Country (big kitties!), the Memphis Zoo is FULL of fun and excitement!
Unfortunately, the zoo will not be holding “Tennessee Tuesdays” during the month of March.
The Memphis Zoo will resume “Tennessee Tuesday” on April 5… just in time for beautiful weather along with some free fun!
I love your new blog! I’m going to share it on my Facebook page. (I don’t do Twitter.)
Patty,
Thank you so much for reading and sharing! I appreciate it 🙂 More fun and free activities are coming soon!
